Each channel can accurately identify the "0" signal (-3…+5V) and "1" signal (11…30V), with a typical input current of 3mA and a typical input filter value of 3.0ms, which can effectively filter out on-site interference signals and ensure the accuracy of collected signals. The module has an electrical isolation performance of 500V (between the K-bus and field potential), which can prevent on-site voltage fluctuations or interference from affecting the bus system and improve the stability of the overall system. At the same time, its typical K-bus current consumption is only 5mA, and the power contact current consumption is 2mA (excluding load), featuring a low-power design suitable for industrial environments requiring long-term continuous operation.

In terms of environmental adaptability, the KL1408 can work normally in a temperature range of -25…+60℃, with a storage temperature range of -40…+85℃, and can withstand an environment with 95% relative humidity (no condensation). It also complies with the EN 60068-2-6 (vibration resistance) and EN 60068-2-27 (shock resistance) standards, as well as the EN 61000-6-2 (EMC immunity) and EN 61000-6-4 (EMC emission) standards. It can operate stably in industrial scenarios with high dust, high vibration, and complex electromagnetic environments such as wind power, metallurgy, and automotive manufacturing, providing continuous and reliable digital input support for status monitoring and signal feedback of various industrial equipment.

In terms of installation and adaptability, the KL1408 has an IP20 protection rating, complies with the EN 60715 standard, and can be directly installed on a 35mm DIN rail. It also supports side-by-side installation through double slots and key connections, facilitating the expansion of the number of input channels according to actual needs. The module is made of polycarbonate material, with dimensions of 12mm×100mm×68mm and a weight of approximately 55g. Its compact structure allows efficient use of installation space in the control cabinet. In terms of wiring, it supports solid conductors (S), flexible conductors (ST), and ferrules (F). The connection cross-section ranges are 0.08…2.5mm² (for S/ST) and 0.14…1.5mm² (for F) respectively, with corresponding stripping lengths of 8…9mm (for S/ST) and 9…10mm (for F). It adopts screwdriver-spring-actuated wiring, which makes the wiring operation convenient and the contact reliable, and is compatible with common wire types in industrial fields.
